  • John Kuczek, DVM


    Dr. Kuczek graduated from Killeen High School in 1995, Texas Tech University in 2000 and Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Immediately after graduation, he started his own large animal mobile vet practice. After seven years, he accepted a position on Fort Hood as the vet for the First Cavalry Horse Detachement, Fort Hood VTF and the Military Working Dogs.  He spent approximately seven years working on the military working dogs, the Cav horses, and all types of personal pets. 

    On 16 April 2016, Dr. Kuczek and his wife Emily assumed ownership of Aztec Pet Hospital. He immediately used his surgerical expertise to expanded services to include a wide range of surgeries and dental procedures to ensure pets recieve the highest quality of medicine possible right here with the Doctors they know and trust. 

    Dr. Kuczek is very passionate about internal medicine and critical care. He seeks out educational opportunities as well as investing in the latest technology to consistantly add new capabilities. His goal for Aztec Pet Hospital to become the leader in Internal Medicine in the area.

  • Robert L. Murry, DVM

     Veterinarian DVM

    Dr. Murry graduated from Texas A&M in 1979.
    He is a member of the Texas Veterinarian Medical Association.

    His philosophy on pet ownership is to provide the best care that you are capable of providing and then knowing when to let go of your pet to avoid undue suffering.

    Dr. Murry is a conservationist and an environmentalist. He advocates for the protection and preservation of the environment and wildlife.

    He is associated with many Non-Profit Conservation and Environmental Organizations. Many of these organizations he holds a life time membership.
